In all fairness to Carrie, she also deserved to win. When she sang (and nearly nailed) Angels Brought Me Here on finale night, she sealed the deal. I think Simon's prediction that she will sell more records than any other Idol in history will come true -- the country music market in the US is huge.
I'm excited for the both of them, and when Bo comes out with his record I'll surely pick it up immediately.
I'm gonna miss American Idol 4. It was the best season ever. By a mile. Plus when all the other idols sang, you could really see the depth of the competition. Best finale results show ever too.
